The Story
Ewen Spencer’s first intimate portrayal of London’s burgeoning grime scene was over 10 years ago in 2005 with the publication of the book Open Mic. Realised more recently with the release of the 22 minute documentary ‘Open Mic’ for Dazed x Channel 4 late last year. The new title pays homage to both combining interviews with the grime scenes most significant artists and commentators with 16 previously unseen images from Ewen’s archive.
