Female Footwear Destruction Service is a study in shoe obsession, presenting an archive of lifelong hyperfixation.
A documentary book of installations and performance as a means to process a destructive, emotional and addictive infatuation with heels.
Featuring broken shoes accumulated by the artist over many years, with signs of pain and wear still visible. The project acts as a final resting place for a small part of Meg’s collection and provides an intimate insight of the cathartic journey to this point.
