The Story
Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost is a diaristic piece consisting of photographs taken over the past eight months between Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and London. Photography and poetry by Jun Rui Lo, art direction by Alex Williams.
“As my desire to take photos continues to grow, the accumulated number of photographs rises day by day, gradually and naturally becoming an inescapable presence in my life. When I revisit the photographs after a certain period of time, I am swirled into the vague realm where memories are blurred and distorted; none of them can be kept authentically. The photographs emerge in front of me in an almost unrecognisable form. All that’s left are only my re-interpretations and the emotions evoked.”
