Belgian artist and photographer Yves de Brabander presents visual erotic poetry in his first ever monograph. Obsessive, fetishistic and un-apologetically queer, his work references religious imagery and classical masters, as well as arthouse cinema and Film Noir.

In four chapters the viewer witnesses how the male body serves as Yves de Brabander’s canvas. The deliberate act of getting dirty on his handcolored charcoal backdrop becomes a catalyst for acceptance, sexual identity, lust and desire in our ever-changing society.
