Chills

'Chills' is Maria Cecilia Tedemalm's first collected works, featuring images taken of her friends in the local DIY punk scene, juxtaposed with documentary imagery from around the UK and Ireland. These pictures were taken over the span of 4 years, from 2020 - 2024, originally started as a lockdown project. Maria would initially capture portraits of her social distance walking companions, but her practice has now grown into something much more substantial, yet hard to define.
