Berlin 1992-1996 Volume 1

This zine is a short collection of images shot in Berlin between 1992 and '96 by John Sealey. The images recollect a time where the separation between East and West Germany has ended but the socio-political implications are still tangible.

"It's 1992 and I'm sitting in the kitchen of an apartment of a friend in Kollwitzstraße, East Berlin, drinking tea, smoking cigarettes and fiddling with a Super-8 camera lent to me by a friendly Russian neighbour who lives upstairs. How did I get here?"
