A Cockroach Between Her Teeth

A COCKROACH BETWEEN HER TEETH is a selection from a series of ongoing works by Daisie Jacobs. Through the ritual practice of self-portraiture; camera-less photography; and by seeking an abject femininity in nature, Jacobs documents the tangible self in an attempt to combat feelings of formlessness and the disorientation that can come with the dissolution of that self.
